This is an A3 board, made of our lightweight, super durable material (the same material our visual symbols are made of) that shows a whole range of visual symbols relevant to use in a medical practice, hospital or community practitioner.
This board supports the individual by:
- allowing any non-verbal people, or ones that struggle with communication, to point to a symbol to communicate their wants or need.
- allowing you to reinforce what you are communicating by pointing to the relevant symbol. That way the person can see what you are trying to say.
- supporting emotional development by giving them a chance to consider how they are feeling, or perhaps how someone else is feeling.
