This is a very simple planner that allows someone to find out what is happening when out and about, and therefore feel calm, safe and in control.
The book has one double page spread showing a week to view, and one double page spread showing a day to view. This day is broken down into morning, afternoon and evening.
The book then comes with 48 visuals, stored on the last four pages, based around life at home for an adult. The book measures 25cm x 16 x 2cm and the visuals are our small size measuring 5.5 x 4.5cm.
Since pictures are easier to process than words, they support understanding for anyone that might be struggling to understand what their week involves and therefore might be feeling anxious and as though life is out of control. By showing them, visually, they can understand what is happening and therefore feel safe in the knowledge of what is going to be happening.
